HAPPY NEW YEAR 2026
Happy New Year 🎉
As we step into a brand new year, I’d like to wish you and your family a very happy, healthy New Year.
January often comes with pressure to overhaul everything overnight — new routines, new goals, new habits. In clinic, I see time and time again that lasting progress doesn’t come from extremes, but from small, consistent steps done well.
A better way to start the year
Whether you’re recovering from an injury, managing long-standing aches, or simply trying to move better, the focus this January should be on:
- Moving a little more, with confidence
- Building strength gradually
- Listening to your body rather than fighting it
- Prioritising recovery as much as training
Strength, mobility, and resilience are built over time — not in a single workout or a short-lived resolution.

If pain has been holding you back
If you’ve been putting things off because of pain, stiffness, or fear of making things worse, now is a great time to address it. Early, sensible intervention can prevent minor issues becoming long-term problems and help you move into the year feeling stronger and more capable.
A simple New Year check-in
Ask yourself:
- Do I move as well as I should?
- Am I avoiding activities because of pain or fear?
- Could better strength or mobility improve my daily life?
If the answer to any of these is “yes”, it may be time for a proper plan rather than guesswork.
If you’d like support with recovery, strength training, or getting back to movement with confidence, I’d be very happy to help.
Here’s to a year of moving better, feeling stronger, and building long-term health — one step at a time.
